This community festival runs from Christmas Eve to Australia Day, nestled in the coastal town of Port Fairy. Entertaining families from near and far for the past 75 years, the Moyneyana Festival is designed to create summer memories for young and old. December 5th is International Volunteers Day. Humans in Geelong value the opportunity to shine a light on the local individuals and causes that inspire us to serve. Volunteerism empowers individuals to find their purpose, to take their passion, and turn it into meaningful change. We are celebrating by putting on a fun day with something for everyone!
The event runs from 10-3pm and there are over 100 participants.
There will be Red Cross First Aid room behind the stage, a water refill station, food trucks, coffee van, Rotary Sausage Sizzle and items for sale. You can bring items for sale too. Bring cash. Gold coin parking across the road or next door, by Rotary.
There will be no capacity limits and masks won’t need to be worn. But State Government rules are that all participants, workers, even volunteers etc. need to be double vaccinated or exempt to attend events.
When Izzy’s soft toys magically come to life, she requests a magic show starring the toys, but her dad (Dazzling Dan the Magic Man) is worried the cheeky toys might get up to mischief…Join Dazzling Dan online for an interactive magic adventure where soft toys come to life! Canola Flowering Festival

Barry Schulze – farmer extraordinaire has mowed a heart shape into his Canola crop at Connewarre, which also contains a message calling for help to the farmers up north, who are suffering under drought conditions.
The flowering should peak on the day of a major fund-raising day on the Sunday 14th October.
