When Izzy’s soft toys magically come to life, she requests a magic show starring the toys, but her dad (Dazzling Dan the Magic Man) is worried the cheeky toys might get up to mischief…Join Dazzling Dan online for an interactive magic adventure where soft toys come to life! This playful activity is bought you by the Geelong Multiple Birth Association. This creative project has been supported by the City of Greater Geelong Community Grants.
Geelong Children’s Week returns for 2021 with over 25 events and activities on offer across the region, Geelong Children’s Week provides children and their parents the opportunity to connect with community organisations in their local areas in a fun and engaging way.
The program runs from Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 October 2021, and activities range from virtual performances through to in-person events celebrating arts and culture activities.
The 2021 theme is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Article 15 ‘Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others’
This year’s Children’s Week activities focus on ‘Delama yerram baa kale-werango’, which means to ’embrace with nature and outdoors’ in the language of the Wadawurrung People, Traditional Owners of this land.
